The new 6Tb Buffalo Network Attached Storage (NAS), utilizing AES-128 data encryption, was installed tonight. With this new device we can do larger, faster and more backups between remote locations and the NOC. Configured as a RAID 5 NAS, it will be capable of holding 4.5TB (4500GB) of data for both internal and external customers. The primary function for this unit will be to support the secure synchronization backup service for the internal and external customers. This service is able to synchronize an off line copy of critical company data quickly, efficiently and securely! Today we released a new award-winning Content Management System (CMS) server solution called, Joomla. Written in PHP, this open source software can allows users to easily publish their content on the world wide web and intranet's. This is a 100% Open Source Content Management System which can support multilingual, role-based multi-user access, e-commerce features and online communities. Joomla was designed to be managed in a web browser with no extra software needed by the end user.
